Best ever Bike 4 Betty raises over $200,000 for cancer care services!
On behalf of Trillium Health Centre Foundation, thank you for participating in our Bike 4 Betty ride and family festival on Sunday, May 27 at Port Credit Memorial Park!
Thanks to you and an estimated 3,000 cyclists, friends, family and community members in attendance throughout the day, Bike 4 Betty 2012 was a great success, and we had a record turnout, which is a testament to our community's commitment! Our cyclists had the perfect weather conditions for their rides, and the sun was shining for our family festival!
Best of all, together we raised over $200,000 for cancer care services at the Betty Wallace Women's Health Centre and the Betty & Buster Lockwood Cancer Detection and Treatment Centre. The funds also count toward the $110 million goal of the Foundation's Giving 110% campaign to fund hospital-wide priorities at Trillium. Giving 110% to these vital areas will help patients get the very best!
