Bill Moir has displayed heroism in so many ways, helping to ensure that patients and their families get the very best care, close to home, with the latest techniques and technologies, in comfortable, revitalized patient care spaces.
Bill looks at giving from the patient’s perspective. At the end of the day, his focus always comes back to delivering an improved patient experience.
That is why he has focused on a number of initiatives in recent years that have dramatically improved patient care, including new specialized air zone beds that provide immeasurable comfort to patients; a refreshed patient lounge in the neurosciences department to provide patients and family members a comforting, tranquil and private meeting space; and a generous gift to help bring a fourth Catheterization lab to Trillium to further enhance the hospital’s leading cardiac programs.
As Chief Brand and Marketing Officer at Tim Hortons, Bill volunteers his time, knowledge and expertise for a number of important community organizations. He is a volunteer Director on the Trillium Health Centre Foundation Board and serves as President of the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation, helping over 14,000 economically disadvantaged children attend camp each year through a variety of programs.
